Search operation underway of the main accused and absconding hoodlums in Lucknow’s Gomtinagar incident

Lucknow| Following the strictness of the government, police from 52 police stations of the Commissionerate have been deployed in search of absconding molestation accused and hoodlums in the Gomtinagar incident. Apart from this, five special teams including surveillance have been deployed. Footage of the hoodlums has been sent to all the police station in-charges. Police have so far arrested 16 accused in this case. Photographs of all the accused have been provided in the safe city control room on the basis of footage. The photos of the absconding accused have been uploaded on the system in the control room.

Deputy Commissioner of Police East Shashank Singh said that 16 accused have been arrested so far. The accused include Pawan Yadav, resident of Gomtinagar Badi Jugauli, Sunil Kumar Bari, resident of Vineetkhand Mohd. Arbaaz, Viraj Sahu, Vinaykhand resident Arjun Agrahari, Ratan Gupta, Vigyan Khand resident Aman Gupta, Badosarai resident of Barabanki Anil Kumar, Ajgain resident of Unnao Priyanshu Sharma, Kalyanpur resident Ashish Singh, Vikas Bhandari, Manish Kumar, resident of Prayag Narayan Road, Hazratganj, Abhishek Tiwari, Krishnakant, resident of Gomtinagar Extension, Jai Kishan and Abhishek Kumar, residents of Khargapur. Six bikes have been recovered from the accused.
