The company is set to create a new export record with the government’s ‘Make in India’ and PLI schemes. Apple manufactured and assembled $14 billion worth of iPhones in India last fiscal year and exported more than $10 billion worth of devices.

iPhone exports from India rose from $6.27 billion in 2022-23 to surpass $10 billion in 2023-24. Overall, the iPhone maker’s operations in India reached $23.5 billion last fiscal year. In the July-September period, the Tim Cook-led company set the largest revenue record ever in India. Cook had said that we are excited by what we see in India, here we have created the biggest revenue record ever. It has been an extraordinary year of innovation at Apple.

Apple has two retail stores in India, New Delhi Saket and Mumbai BKC. Meanwhile, Apple CEO has announced the opening of new stores. Apple posted its biggest-ever quarterly shipment in India in Q3 2024 with 4 million units, IDC reported. The company also emerged as the second largest player in the online channel, with the iPhone 15 and iPhone 13 being the most shipped devices.
