Ingredients for making gram flour pudding
200 grams of gram flour, half cup of desi ghee, one and a half cup of sugar, cashews, almonds, pistachios, raisins and saffron

Method of making Besan Halwa
Step 1: To make gram flour halwa, first turn on the gas. Place a pan on the gas. Add half cup desi ghee in the pan. Now add 200 grams of gram flour to this ghee and fry it well. Gram flour has to be roasted until it turns red. Fry gram flour only on medium flame otherwise it may burn.

Step 2: Turn on the gas on the other side and place a pan. Add 2 teaspoons of ghee. Now finely chop cashews, almonds, pistachios, raisins and add all the dry fruits in it. When these turn light red, remove them.

Step 3: Now place a bath on this gas and add 1 glass of water to it and let it heat. When the water becomes hot, add one and a half cups of sugar in it. When the syrup thickens, turn off the gas.

Step 4: Now see in the next step the gram flour has become completely red. Now add syrup to it and mix well. Keep stirring continuously so that there are no lumps in the halwa. Now add a glass of water to the halwa and fry on medium flame. In 10 minutes, your halwa will be ready. Now add roasted dry fruits to it. Your besan halwa is ready to serve.
