Prepare this tasty ‘Veg Biryani/Pulao’ for lunch, Know the recipe
Lucknow| Unless pulses, vegetables and roti are included in Indian food, the food seems incomplete. But many times the mind gets bored even after eating these stuffs every day. Sometimes people don’t even feel like cooking many things and sometimes it feel like eating light yet graceful food. For which, you should prefer cooking this Veg Biryani. Lets know how to cook the same.
Easy recipe of Veg Biriyani/Pulao:
1.The recipe we are telling contains Biriyani masala, but the rest of the things are made of pulao only. You will have to buy normal rice for this. Also 1 big onion, a little green peas, 1 small potato, 2 green chillies, green coriander will be needed.
2.To add flavor to this casserole, take some cheese slices, 8-10 cashews, 10-12 raisins and 4-5 almonds. Adding these things will give a different flavor. Now start preparing to make pulao.
3.First of all wash the rice and cut onion, potato, chilli, coriander and peel the peas. If you want, you can also use frozen peas. Now add 2 spoons of desi ghee in the cooker. Add 1 pinch of asafoetida and a little cumin.
4.Now add onion and potatoes. Along with this, add cashews and almonds and mix. To cook, add some salt in advance and let it melt lightly. Now add chopped green chillies and add chopped cheese pieces and raisins to it.
5.Add one and a half teaspoon Biriyani masala on top and add salt as per taste. Apply 2 whistles with the lid of the cooker. Keep the water as per your convenience or fill the vessel in which the rice is taken lightly and add water twice.
6.Turn off the gas flame and after opening the cooker, add 2 spoons of desi ghee on top and mix the casserole. Now add green coriander to it and serve. You can eat this pulao or rather biriyani with raita or green chutney.
