New Delhi| Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for America on his three-day visit. In America, PM Modi will participate in the Quad summit and address the ‘future summit’ of the United Nations. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also participate in a community program and interact with the Indian diaspora there. Prime Minister Modi said before this visit on Saturday, ‘Today, I am visiting the US to participate in the Quad summit being organized by US President Joe Biden in his hometown Wilmington and to address future summits at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. I am going on a three-day visit to America.’

PM Modi further said, “I look forward to joining my colleagues President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Albanese and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at the Quad summit”. The forum has emerged as a major group of like-minded countries working for peace, progress and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region.”

PM Modi further said that his meeting with President Joe Biden will ‘allow us to review and identify new avenues to further deepen the India-US comprehensive global strategic partnership for the benefit of our people and global well-being’. The Prime Minister has said that he will interact with the Indian diaspora community and important American business leaders. He says that this visit will help in strengthening relations between the world’s largest and oldest democracies (India and America). Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the ‘Future Summit’ as an opportunity for the global community to chart the way forward for the betterment of humanity, saying, “I will share the views of one-sixth of humanity as they have the highest stake in a peaceful and secure future in the world”
