Olympics 2024 Day 4: Golden chance for India to win 5 medals, all eyes on Manu and Sarabjot
India is hopeful of medals from athletes on the fourth day of Paris Olympics 2024. India has so far won only one medal in the Paris Olympics. Manu Bhaker (Manu Bhaker) won India’s first medal in the Paris Olympics 204. India failed to grab any medal on the third day, where Arjun Babuta missed even after nearing to the medal. He finished fourth in the 10 metre air rifle event. At the same time, the pair of shooter Manu-Sarbjot Singh (Manu Bacher-Sarabjot Singh) qualified for the bronze medal i.e. Shoot Off.
Manu-Sarbjot Singh pair will play the bronze medal match of 10 meter air pistol mixed team today (30 July). This match will take place from 1 pm IST. At the same time, in badminton, the pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty entered the quarter-finals on the third day. Now there are hopes of a medal from Indian athletes on the fourth day.

12:30 PM: Shooting – Shreyasi Singh and Rajeshwari Kumari will be in action on Tuesday, the first day of women’s trap qualification. At the Mains event, Prithviraj Tondaiman will be in action on the second day of his qualification event.
1. 1 pm: Shooting – Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh will take on the 10 metre mixed team air pistol bronze medal match against South Korea.
2. 1 pm: Rowing – Balraj Panwar Men’s Single Sculls will play in the quarter-finals
3. 2:30 PM: Equestrian – Anush Agarwal and horse Sir Caramello Old Dressage will participate in the individual Grand Prix event
4. 4:45 PM: Hockey – India vs Ireland
5. 5:14 PM: Archery – Ankita Bhaka will take part in the round-of-64 and will face Violeta Mysjor of Poland. Ankita finished 11th in the ranking round.
6. 5:27 PM: Archery – Bhajan Kaur will also take on Indonesia’s Sifiya Kamal in Round of 64. He had placed 22nd in the ranking round.
7. 5:30 PM: Badminton – Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will play their final group match against Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Ardianto of Indonesia. They have already qualified for the quarter-finals.
8. After 6:20 pm: Badminton – Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Crasto will face Setiana Mapasa and Angela Yu in the group stage match.
9. 7:16 PM: Boxing – Amit Panghal Mance will take the field against Patrick Chinyemba in the round-of-16 bout of the 50 kg category.
