Naver Search and other major services to use AI technology

New Delhi| South Korean tech company Naver announced that it will include its own developed Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology among its key services, such as search platforms and shopping applications. Naver informed its “on-service AI” plan at a tech conference called ‘DAN24. Under this plan, the company will include its AI model Hyperclova X in its search engine, which will provide personalized and accurate answers to users’ questions. Additionally, the company will also launch a new AI brewing function next year, which will summarize users’ questions and provide reliable information.
The service will initially be available in Korean, English and Japanese when launched. “We introduced Hyperclova X last year and are now preparing to make it a full commercial”, said CI Choi Soo-yeon of Naver. Our goal is to make people’s lives easier with AI services by breaking the boundaries of online and offline
In the first half, NEVER will also launch an AI shopping application ‘Never Plus Store’, which will help users find products and promotions as per their needs. Along with this, the company will also add ‘Geospatial AI’ technology to its mobile map application next year, which will provide users with offline location and correct location information in digital form. In addition, Naver plans to create an ‘Impact Fund’ and invest 1 trillion won over the next six years, leading to the development of AI in the country.
