Miraculous benefits of consuming different colored capsicums

Different capsicum color attracts us more than taste. Capsicum’s (Capsicum) varying color makes catering colorful. Especially if you want to make something Chinese, like noodles or Italian pasta, it feels better to add more red or yellow capsicum than green. But, are the nutrients of different colored capsicum (Bell Peppers) also different? Nutritionist Deepshikha Jain answered these question. Deepshikha shared a video on her Instagram account highlighting the health benefits from colored capsicum.

Nutritionist Deepshikha Jain said that if you eat green colored capsicum, you get Vitamin A, Vitamin C, potassium and folate from it, which is considered excellent for gut and stomach health.  If you eat red capsicum, you get 11 times more beta carotene, 8 times more vitamin A and 1.5 times more vitamin C than green capsicum. At the same time, with yellow capsicum (Yellow Bell Pepper) you will get more vitamin C but less vitamin A and beta carotene than green capsicum.

Paprika (Red Bell Pepper) is beneficial in many ways for health. It contains excessive amount of Vitamin C, due to which it is also effective in reducing the pain of arthritis. Besides, it has anti-inflammatory properties. Being rich in fiber, paprika keeps away problems like constipation. Paprika can also be included in weight loss diet because it’s rich in fiber. This capsicum can also be added to salads, pasta, sandwiches, vegetable, snacks and soups. Kids usually are reluctant to eat green bell peppers. Paprika can be fed to them as well.
