Manu Bhaker missed scripting history, finishes fourth in 25 meter pistol final
Paris| The beginning of the eighth day of Paris Olympics was disappointing for India. Manu Bhaker finished fourth in the women’s 25 metre pistol event with 28 shots. In 8 series Manu managed to hit 5 out of 5 shots just once. She shot 28 shots for a total of 40. With this, her dream of scoring a hat-trick of medals in the Paris Olympics remained unfulfilled.
Manu had previously won bronze in the individual 10 meter air pistol and in the mix event, partnering Sarabjot Singh. She is the first Indian to win two medals in the same Olympics.
