Liquor scam: CM Kejriwal judicial custody extended till August 27

A Delhi court on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal till August 27 in a corruption case filed by the CBI in connection with the liquor scam. Special Judge Kaveri Baweja extended the detention period of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kejriwal till August 27 after he was produced before the court via video conference when his judicial custody period ended. The court is likely to consider the supplementary charge sheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against Kejriwal on August 27.
