Kashmir- Fresh encounter between security forces and terrorists in Kulgam; one army soldier sacrificed

Kashmir- Security forces today launched a cordon and search operation in Modargam under Kulgam in South Kashmir after receiving the information about hidden terrorists in the valley.

Meanwhile, the terrorists hiding opened fire at the army personnel. In this encounter, a soldier was reported injured, who was immediately taken to the hospital, but later he succumbed to the injures.

A police officer said the search operation turned into an encounter after the terrorists opened fire on the security personnel. He told that the search and fight operation is underway.
