I4C: Amitabh Bachchan joins I4C campaign against cyber crime, Amit Shah expresses gratitude

New Delhi| Union Home Minister Amit Shah thanked Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan for his active participation in the government’s initiative to tackle rising cyber crimes. He said the actor’s participation will further accelerate the mission of making India a cyber-secure nation.
The campaign was launched by the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4 C), a branch of the Union Home Ministry. Amit Shah said on social media platform X, ‘Taking forward the vision of PM Modi, the Home Ministry is determined to create a secure cyber space in the country. I4 C has taken a number of steps in this direction. I thank Amitabh Bachchan for joining this campaign. Amitabh Bachchan’s active participation will give further impetus to our mission to create a cyber-safe India.
In a video message, Amitabh Bachchan stressed the importance of vigilance against cyber crime. The Bollywood actor said, ‘The increasing cases of cyber crime in the country and around the world are a matter of concern. The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center of the Home Ministry is working towards controlling it. On the request of Home Minister Amit Shah, I joined this campaign and I want all of us to unite against this problem. A little caution can protect us from cyber crimes. I will be reminding you from time to time.
I4C highlighted Amitabh Bachchan’s involvement in the campaign. Said, ‘Supporting the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, actor Amitabh Bachchan has joined I4 C’s campaign to make India cyber secure. You can also join this initiative, be vigilant against cyber fraud and contribute to building a cyber-safe India. Shah had addressed the first foundation day program of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C) at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on Tuesday. He also launched major initiatives for prevention of cyber crime. He had urged cyber security agencies to identify the modus operandi of criminals using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to defraud people of their hard-earned money, spread fake news and harass women and children online.
