Google Play Store features to change from September 1, millions of Android users to be affected

The Google Play Store is going to see a big change soon. Thousands of apps could disappear from the Google Play Store starting September 1, which is going to affect millions of Android users around the world. Google has taken this decision keeping in mind the new quality control. The tech company says new restrictions will be imposed for apps with malware and third parties, so that APK cannot be uploaded to third party stores. This is a big step taken so far regarding Google’s marketing and user experience.

Actually, Google has taken this big decision because of a crypto app, in which a woman had claimed that she had downloaded a crypto app from Play Store, after which scammers had cheated her. After this, Google has announced to bring a major change in the rules of its Play Store. Now there will be a ban on uploading APK of any app of Play Store to the app store of any third party.

However, this is not the first case when Google has questioned the Play Store. Even before this, many tech companies and security agencies including Meta have raised questions on Android’s security. From time to time, many dangerous apps have been removed from Google Play Store, in which malware has been found. Through many apps available on Play Store, hackers have committed fraud by stealing personal information of users by mining data.

Switzerland’s EPFL also issued 31 critical security warnings regarding Google’s Android system. However, Google always claims that their team keeps removing such apps present on the Play Store from time to time. Now Google has decided to take this big change in the Play Store keeping in mind the security of Android users. With this decision of Google, personal information of users will not reach third parties.
