Excise Policy Case: Arvind Kejriwal moves Delhi High Court challenging CBI’s arrest

New Delhi| Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has challenged the arrest made by CBI in the Excise Policy Scam case in the Delhi High Court. The CBI arrested Kejriwal on 26 June and was sent on three-day CBI remand. After this, when the remand period ended on 29 June, the court sent Kejriwal to judicial custody till 12 July.

The High Court had stayed the bail granted by the lower court in the money laundering case related to the excise scam. He is currently in judicial custody in both the cases.
