Mahakumbh 2025: Team of officers fielded at ground zero

Prayagraj| Administrative officers are being deployed in special areas to ensure the divine and grand event of Mahakumbh-2025. These officers will have the responsibility of overseeing and managing various activities. In this sequence, District Magistrate Prayagraj has handed over the jurisdiction to the officers as per their responsibilities. This order has been issued with the aim of successfully conducting the fair event. According to the order issued from the District Magistrate’s office, Chief Development Officer Gaurav Kumar will be in charge of all necessary action as per the order of the undersigned for any work of Mahakumbh.

At the same time, Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Vinay Kumar Singh will look after the complete management of Jhusi and surrounding areas. Additional District Magistrate (Bhulekh) Kunwar Pankaj will look after the work of Naini and its surrounding areas, while Additional District Magistrate (Najul) Pradeep Kumar will have the responsibility of Phaphamau and surrounding areas.

Additional District Magistrate (City) Madan Kumar has been given the responsibility of overall maintenance of the city area, while Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Pooja Mishra has been given the charge of the control room located in ICCC (Prayagraj Fair Authority).

Apart from this, in view of the crowd of devotees, bathers and devotees at the railway stations, duty of nodal/assistant nodal officers and sector wise officers has also been imposed to conduct the main bathing festival of Mahakumbh safely and smoothly. PDA VC Amit Pal Sharma has been made the nodal officer of Prayagraj Junction, while Additional Municipal Magistrate (III) Sudama Verma will be the nodal of Subedarganj and Apar Municipal Commissioner Deependra Yadav will be the nodal of Rambagh railway station.

Similarly, Additional Municipal Magistrate (First) Sandeep Tiwari will be the nodal of Prayag Railway Station, OSD PDA Sanjeev Kumar Upadhyay will be the nodal of Phaphamau Railway Station, Deputy District Magistrate (Judicial) Prerna Gautam Prayag Sangam, Additional Municipal Commissioner Arvind Kumar Rai will be the nodal of Daraganj Railway Station.

Additional Deputy District Magistrate Sadar Ganesh Kanojia has been made the nodal of Jhusi Railway Station, Deputy District Magistrate (Judicial) Karchana, Juhi Prasad has been made the nodal of Naini Railway Station and Deputy District Magistrate Jaijit Kaur has been made the nodal of Chhivki-Naini Railway Station. All nodal officers will look after the arrangements in collaboration with assistant nodal officers and sector officers.

Along with this, the responsibility of nodal, assistant nodal and sector officers has also been fixed for the arrangement of the entire holding area.
