Mahakumbh 2025: Entry of Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara into Prayagraj

Prayagraj| In the Mahakumbh which is going to be held in January next year in Prayagraj, the biggest attraction of public faith, 13 Akharas have started entering the Kumbh city. In this sequence, the city entrance of Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara for the preparations of Mahakumbh 2025 was completed with full grandeur on Sunday. A glimpse of the Yogi government’s resolve to organize a divine, grand and well-organized Mahakumbh was also clearly visible in the Nagar Pravesh Yatra. Akharas have started gathering in Kumbh city to participate in Prayagraj Mahakumbh, the great gathering of faith, which is going to be held on the banks of Triveni. Shri Panch Dashnam Akhara of Sannyasis entered the Kumbh city with full royal splendor.

The grand Nagar Pravesh Yatra of the Sanyasis and Mahatmas of the Akhara with their Ramta Panch started from the Hanuman temple of Ramapur village outside the city, which concluded at Mauj Giri Ashram of Juna Akhara in the city. On the way to the Nagar Pravesh Yatra, the Mahatmas of the Akhara were welcomed with flowers by the Kumbh Mela administration at various places. On the way, the local people showered flowers on the Mahamandaleshwars of the Akharas riding in silver thrones. The sages and saints of the Akhara will now stay here. On December 14, the Akhara will enter the Kumbh area under the leadership of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avadheshanand Giri of Juna Akhara. Heavy police force was deployed by the Mahakumbh administration for the safe completion of the city entrance yatra. Under the leadership of Additional Kumbh Mela Officer Vivek Chaturvedi, teams of administrative officers from the departure point Ramapur continued to move along with the saints of the Akhara.

Four Circle Officers, 6 Inspectors, 9 Sub Inspectors and 40 Police personnel were deployed to ensure smooth traffic operation arrangements along the route. District police personnel were seen separately ready for traffic arrangements on various routes. Arrangements were made to ensure that there is no jam in the roads during the city entry journey.
More than a thousand saints of the Akhara participated in the city entrance yatra of Shri Panchdashnam Juna Akhara. The presence of mother power was also seen in the city entrance yatra. A large number of women from India and abroad also became a part of the city entrance yatra.

Hemanand Giri, a female saint who came from Nepal and Mahamandaleshwar of Juna Akhara, says that it is the good fortune of the saints that the Chief Minister of the state where Mahakumbh is being organized is also a saint. The way preparations are going on by CM Yogi by taking a pledge to organize a grand and divine Mahakumbh, the propagation of Sanatan Dharma is now happening rapidly in various countries of the world including Nepal.
