Lucknow| Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Balrampur. He held a review meeting regarding development works and law and order in the Collectorate Auditorium. Chief Minister Yogi launched Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban/Rural), Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana Gramin, Operation Kayakalp, School Chalo Abhiyan, Jal Jeevan Mission, Cow Vaccination-Year Tagging, Cow Protection, Flood Prevention Works, Tree Plantation Campaign, Communicable Disease Control Campaign. Discussed important projects of the district.

CM Yogi said that Balrampur is a flood affected district. A permanent solution should be found to stop floods. For this, efforts should be made to channelize Rapti river. He instructed the officers that all the connectivity roads of the district should be in good condition. Roads should be made pothole free. Make a proposal for a new road and bridge and send it to the public representatives, funds will be provided immediately from the government.

CM directed to identify land and build new cow protection centers and also produce compressed biogas etc. During the review of law and order, he said that all the festivals including Durga Puja, Ramlila, Diwali, Chhath should be completed safely. Laxity will not be tolerated at all against elements that spoil the atmosphere. Strict action should be taken against such elements.

He said that electricity and cleanliness should be ensured during festivals. CM also insisted on taking action against the mafia. He said that mark the top 10 mafia of the district and also take strict action against them. Patrolling should be done jointly by the magistrate and the police. CM directed to increase special vigilance regarding women’s safety.

He said that CCTV cameras must be installed in business establishments, schools-colleges etc. CM also directed to keep strict vigil on social media platforms etc. The Chief Minister directed that the construction of Maa Pateshwari University should be completed in a time bound and quality manner. To ensure that the youth here do not have to go out for education, the government is constructing it here. Nodal officers should be appointed to monitor the construction work.

CM Yogi said that it should be ensured that the benefits of government schemes are made available to the common people without any discrimination. The benefits of welfare schemes should be provided on the basis of eligibility by organizing camps in Tharu tribe villages as well as Scheduled Caste villages. While reviewing the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme, CM Yogi said that the work of laying pipes under Jal Jeevan Mission should be done in a quality manner. After excavation, the roads should be repaired immediately.

Along with setting up a pledge park, the CM stressed on special efforts to continuously increase industrial activities and employment generation in the district. He gave instructions to increase per capita income. It was also said that a special campaign should be run for cleanliness in Gram Panchayats. Villagers should get all the facilities in the Gram Panchayat Secretariat. He directed to make the district plastic free. There should be better arrangements for drainage in villages and cities.

Apart from this, CM Yogi inspected the ‘Maa Pateshwari University’ under construction in the district. During this, he instructed the administrative officials that this university is being built in the name of ‘Maa Pateshwari’. The work should be expedited and completed in a time bound manner.
