‘Yogi’s Force’ to present a unique example of humanity in Mahakumbh 2025

Prayagraj| Mahakumbh 2025, the intangible cultural heritage of humanity, is going to be organized in Prayagraj. Yogi government and UP Police are fully committed to organizing and conducting Mahakumbh 2025. According to the intention of CM Yogi, UP Police will set a unique example of humanity in this Mahakumbh. For this purpose, UP Police has started the training program at the Sankalp Training Pandal at the Parade Ground in Prayagraj.

With the aim of “Suraksha Aapki-Sankalp Hamara”, the entire focus of UP Police is on providing all possible help and polite behavior towards the devotees during Mahakumbh. In the first phase of this training program which will run till December, training is being provided in two batches for 21 days.

Mahakumbh 2025 is estimated to be visited by around 40 crore people. Around 10 crore devotees will take a holy dip in the Sangam on the day of Mauni Amavasya, the main bathing festival. The responsibility of security and arrangements of such a large number of devotees, sadhus, ascetics and tourists is in the hands of UP Police.

SSP Kumbh Rajesh Dwivedi said that as per the expectations of CM Yogi, UP Police is laying special emphasis on the safety of the devotees as well as polite behavior towards them in this Mahakumbh. Due to this, special forces on soft skills and gender sensitization are being given along with security measures in the police training program going on since 16th October in Prayagraj. Under soft skills, police personnel are being given information about talking to the devotees, helping them, parking, means of transport and telling the correct route and place of stay of the fair. Along with this, it is also being told how to behave towards the sadhus and ascetics coming to the fair.

He said that training is also being given to take the help of AI technology to help foreign tourists and people coming from every corner of the country by talking to them in their own language. For this, a linguistic app has also been created, which is capable of translating many languages. Besides, policemen are also being given information about chatbots, so that all possible help can be provided to the devotees in the fair. In the end training programme, the biggest emphasis is on gender sensitization.

SSP Kumbh said that it is not possible to deploy women police everywhere to help the crores of women devotees coming to Mahakumbh. Therefore, male police personnel are also being trained to behave sensitively and help women. Besides, soldiers of Jal Police, ADRF and SDRF are being specially trained to protect Kalpavasis and sneezes during bathing and to protect them from drowning. The Water Police will take full care of the operation and safety standards of the boats in the fair. Traffic and civil police will ensure safe return of devotees to the bathing ghats. In Mahakumbh 2025, UP Police’s aim is to fulfill CM Yogi’s resolution of divine grand safe Mahakumbh.
