Yogi government to run save tree campaign ‘Traimas’ till 14th January

Lucknow| After planting 36.80 crore saplings, Yogi government will now run ‘Traimas’, a campaign to save trees. The campaign will run from 3 October to 14 January. On Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Government’s Forest, Environment, Zoological Park and Climate Change Minister Dr. Arun Kumar Saxena launched the Save Trees campaign ‘Traimas’ at “Soumitra Van” located on the banks of Kukrail river. He also observed the trees planted in Soumitra forest.
The Minister of Forests said that from October 3 to January 14, the Save Trees Campaign Triamas is being organized. Under this, the work of care and protection of the plants planted under the Vriksharon Maha Abhiyan will be done. He directed the officials to take special care of all the trees planted in the entire state, because these trees have been planted in the name of mother and there is nothing in the world greater than mother. He said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he himself will visit the districts and see the condition of the planted plants. Negligence will not be tolerated at any level in this.


On this occasion, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Department Sudhir Kumar Sharma, PCCF Wildlife Sanjay Srivastava, MD Forest Corporation Sunil Chaudhary, PCCF Action Plan Ashok Kumar, General Manager of Uttar Pradesh Forest Corporation Sanjay Pathak, CCF Lucknow Division Renu Singh were present.
