Yogi government to organize ‘Green and Clean Mahakumbh 2025’

Lucknow| Along with making Mahakumbh 2025 grand and divine, Yogi government is also going to present the world’s biggest event as an example to the society. Along with successfully completing this grand event which will last for about two months, this time many world records will also be made on the lines of Kumbh 2019. These records will improve the records created in Kumbh 2019 and encourage the spirit of public participation in public activities. While in 2019, the Yogi government had spent Rs 3.5 crore on these activities, this time a budget provision of Rs 5 crore has been made. Through these records, Yogi government will also give the message of Green and Clean Mahakumbh to the whole world.

Yogi government has made preparations on a large scale to ensure people’s participation on the occasion of Mahakumbh-2025. In this sequence, there is a plan to establish four Guinness Book of World Records through public participation. A total budget provision of Rs 4.87 crore has been made by the Yogi government to establish all these activities as world records. It will cost Rs 2.25 crore to manage activities, while other development works will also cost Rs 1.62 crore.

Earlier in 2019 Kumbh also, many big world records were established on which Yogi government spent more than Rs 3.53 crore. In this way, an amount of more than Rs 1.25 crore will be spent in the activities to be organized for various records in Mahakumbh 2025.

The records for most hand print printing was established by Yogi government in Kumbh 2019. During that time signature painting was contributed by 7,664 people on a canvas of 60 feet in 8 hours. The record was a community participation activity, attended by people from all over the world. This activity broke the previous record of 4,675 signatures set by South Korea. In Mahakumbh 2025, the Yogi government has planned to set a new record by involving 10 thousand people in this activity.

Similarly, in Kumbh 2019, the biggest bus parade was organized on 28 February 2019 in the fair area from the Yogi government. Through this activity a fleet of 503 buses had taken out a spectacular parade to demonstrate the efficient management of the transport capacity of Prayagraj Fair Authority and Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, which had attracted everyone’s attention. It had demolished the previous record of 390 buses set by Abu Dhabi. Mahakumbh 2025 plans to take out a parade of one thousand electric rickshaws (e-rickshaws) to convey awareness message towards green energy and healthy environment.

A record was also set in Kumbh 2019 regarding simultaneous cleaning of ghats and fair area, which shows the commitment of Yogi government towards cleanliness and garbage disposal system. During that time, 10,180 people participated in it and conducted cleaning campaigns at many places at the same time, which was recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.

According to the plan, this time 15 thousand people will simultaneously conduct cleaning campaigns at various places and ghats of the fair area. Another new record will be set in this programme of sanitation, whereby 300 people will descend into the river together and carry out a clean-up operation.
