WEF: India growing at a strong pace in technology development, at the forefront as a global hub for digital innovation

New Delhi|After other agencies and organisations around the world, now the World Economic Forum (WEF) has also praised India’s strong progress in technology development. WEF said, India remains one of the fastest growing economies in the world in the era of technology development. At the same time, it stands at the forefront as a global hub for startups and digital innovation.
The Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) India, the World Economic Forum’s liaison office in India, presented the report on its six-year journey on Monday on the opening day of the WEF’s Annual Meeting-2025 in Davos. The preamble of the report states that India is pursuing the paradigm of development, where technology is not a barrier, but rather serves as a bridge to inclusive well-being.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the C4IR India Centre in the year 2018. It was launched as India’s commitment to use emerging technologies responsibly and inclusively for social well-being and advancement.
Proud of partnership with India
Today, C4IR India is a major hub of the World Economic Forum, not just of innovation, said WEF. This exemplifies the approach to technology driven development with impressive and ground-breaking results. We are proud to work with India as a partner in shaping a more human-centric, environment-friendly and strong future.
Relations are more than 40 years old
