Noida| Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) is set to begin from Wednesday. This trade show will last till 29th September 2024. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will inaugurate the show at the India Expo Center and Mart in Greater Noida. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Industries Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi and others will also participate in this occasion. This show is being jointly organized by Uttar Pradesh Government and India Exposition Limited. The show has more than 2500 stalls. About 500 foreign buyers from 70 countries are expected to attend this international trade fair.
The show is going to be organized in an area larger than 110,000 square meters. This will be a golden platform and opportunity for all levels of enterprises – micro, small, medium and large – in Uttar Pradesh to showcase, sell and expand their reach to a wide range of customers in India and abroad. Apart from trade and enterprises, this trade fair will also have a fair share of promotion and development schemes (both government and non-government).
The show is an ideal platform for Indian and foreign audiences, business visitors and other stakeholders, who are directly or indirectly associated with the development model of the state of Uttar Pradesh. In a pre-program briefing at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida on Tuesday, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Minister Rakesh Sachan said that the performance of this year’s trade fair is expected to be much better than last year. Sachan said that UPITS has become a symbol of economic growth of UP. We expect 500,000 visitors and 2,000 exhibitors to display their products this year and so far some 350 buyers from 70 countries have registered. We hope that this number will exceed last year’s figures.
