The Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Programme (VBYCP) continued its outreach across colleges in the national capital on Tuesday, as the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, through Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), expanded youth engagement under the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.

The programme is part of the second phase of the initiative in Delhi, which aims to connect with more than 10,000 young people across over 35 colleges through interactive sessions, discussions, and youth-led engagement activities.

On the second day of the outreach, Youth Icons Ramandeep Singh, Lavisha Arora, Sneha Bhardwaj, Ankit Kumar, and Sakshi Shah held interactive sessions with students at several institutions in the capital. The sessions took place at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi, Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Maharaja Agrasen College, and Maharishi Valmiki College of Education.

According to the Ministry, the events saw participation from over 900 students, reflecting increasing interest among young people to take part in discussions related to national development.

During the sessions, Youth Icons shared their experiences from various national youth initiatives and encouraged students to contribute ideas and perspectives toward building an Atmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat by 2047.

The programme included presentations and Yuva Samvad interactions, where students discussed themes such as nation-building, leadership, and the role of youth in governance and development. The initiative aims to provide a platform for young citizens, often referred to as the Amrit Peedhi, to take part in India’s development journey through the spirit of Jan Bhagidari.

Ahead of the sessions, awareness and registration drives for the MY Bharat platform were conducted at participating institutions to encourage students to join volunteer-driven initiatives focused on nation-building.

The Ministry said the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Programme will continue to connect young citizens with India’s development vision, enabling them to participate in shaping the country’s future.
