‘US-India new AI power’ – PM Modi
New Delhi| Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on three-day visit to U.S. ‘Modi and America’ event was held in Long Island, New York to welcome him. In such a situation, on the second day of his visit, Prime Minister Modi addressed NRIs at Nassau Coliseum. He described ‘American-Indian spirit’ as the world’s new AI power. Addressing Indian community in New York, PM Modi said AI means Artificial Intelligence to the world. But AI means American-Indian spirit to me. It’s the world’s new ‘AI’ power.
He said, “I salute NRIs. I’ve always understood the capabilities of the diaspora. I understood it, even when I didn’t have an official position. For me you’re all strong brand ambassadors for India. So I call you ‘national ambassador’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanks US President Joe Biden for inviting him to his home in Delaware. He said wherever I go in the world, every leader admires the diaspora. Saturday President Biden took me to his home in Delaware. His affection was a heartwarming moment for me. That honor belongs to 140 million Indians, that honor belongs to you, millions of Indians living here. I’m grateful to President Biden and you guys.”
Recalling Lok Sabha elections, Modi said year 2024 is important for the whole world. Conflict continues between some countries on one side. On the other hand, democracy is being celebrated in many countries. India and U.S. together in this celebration of democracy. America’s gonna have elections. Elections India just held were the biggest ever in human history. We had about twice the total U.S. population. We’re even more proud when we see this scale of Indian democracy.
Sharing his vision for ‘developed India’, PM Modi coined a new term ‘PUSHP’. “We have many goals to achieve in this third term”, he said. We need to move with three times strength and power. Remember the word ‘PUSHP’! P-Progressive India, U-Invincible India, S-Spiritual India, India Committed to H-Community, P-Prosperous India. We’ll create developed India by combining five flower petals.
He said India’s 5 G market today is bigger than America’s. It’s within two years. Now India’s working on Made-in-India 6G. Highlighting his government’s achievements, Modi said along with women’s welfare, we are also focusing on women-led development. Government built many houses and registered them in women’s names. 100 million women connected to micro entrepreneurship scheme in last 10 years. . India’s now a land of opportunities. It no longer waits for opportunities, but creates opportunities. India has opened new doors of opportunities in every field in last 10 years. He said we’re from a country with dozens of languages and dialects. World has all religions and faiths and yet we’re moving forward united.
