UP: Government will make 75,00 daughters of council and KGBV officers for one day

Lucknow| The Uttar Pradesh government has taken an important step for the empowerment of the daughters of the state. It has been decided to make 75,00 daughters of council and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) officers for one day under Mission Shakti. 100 girls will be selected from every district, in which skill and leadership ability will be given priority. The plan is ready. This initiative will prove to make daughters aware of administrative tasks and responsibilities as well as develop their self-confidence and leadership abilities.
Its objective is to give girls experience of administrative responsibilities and develop their self-confidence and leadership qualities. Selected girls will work for one day on posts like DM, CDO, BSA, Block Development Officer, Tehsildar, DIOS. Kasganj’s topper Bhumika and Sambhal’s Shalu have already become one-day District Magistrate under this scheme, who successfully discharged her duties. This effort of the government is an important step towards making daughters self-reliant as well as promoting their contribution to the society.

In the selection process, priority will be given to those girls who are known for their skills and whose leadership qualities are improving. In this program, equal opportunities will be provided to girls of all castes, classes and categories. Following the order of the Chief Minister, Shalu, a student of Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya located in Bahjoi of Sambhal district, and Kumari Bhumika, a topper student of Kasganj district, have been symbolically made District Magistrates for a day. During this, Shalu successfully conducted the meeting of Mission Shakti, introduced the officers and gave instructions on the outline of the work of Mission Shakti, while the topper role of Kasganj ensured the safety, respect and dignity of women and girls And under Mission Shakti Phase-5 being run for self-reliance, in the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas organized in Kasganj tehsil by becoming an officer, he became the District Magistrate for one day and heard the public problems and gave instructions to solve them.
Similarly, Manorama Patel, a student of Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya, Chitrakoot, was also symbolically made DIOS (District School Inspector) for a day. During this period, Manorama fulfilled the responsibilities of the officers very well and reviewed various cases. Apart from this, KGBV girls have also got the opportunity to become one day officers as Chief Development Officer, District Backward and Welfare Officer and Block Development Officer. Let us tell you that a student named Paro of Chitrakoot district was also made a one-day BSA (District Basic Education Officer), during which Paro, like these girls, also discharged the tasks like departmental hearing and gave instructions for their solution.
