UP: Akhilesh targets Yogi government over the accident on Lucknow-Agra Expressway

Lucknow| A massive accident between a double decker bus and a milk container claimed 18 lives on Lucknow-Agra Expressway today. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has blamed the negligence of the BJP government for this accident. Akhilesh said it is a matter of investigation. Akhilesh also questioned the state government about the accident.

The questions raised by the SP chief included-

1. Despite special parking zones being arranged on the expressway, why was any vehicle parked midway?

2.How there was a lapse in monitoring the vehicle parked despite the CCTV being engaged. Were the CCTVs not working?

3.Where was the highway police, was there no regular patrolling?

4.How long did the highway ambulance service arrive after this accident and what was its role in relation to the casualties?

5.If the carriage was parked as it broke down, why did it not receive towing aid?
