‘The country will become a 3.5 million dollar economy in 25 years’- Piyush Goyal

New Delhi| India’s growth story will take the country’s current $3.5 trillion economy to $3.5 trillion in the next 25 years. This sharp increase of 10 times is on the strength of India’s strong economic foundation.
The 21st century belongs to India and is on track to become the world’s third-largest GDP in three years, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said at the inaugural session of the Amazing Goa Global Business Summit-2024 . He said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has rightly said that the 21st century is the century of India. What we are doing today is the best and most comprehensive. The minister said, we are working with a focused approach to make India a developed and prosperous nation by 2047. Former Union Minister Suresh Prabhu said, India is one of the least risky countries under the leadership of PM Modi.
Goyal said, we are the fastest growing economy. Low inflation, strong foreign exchange reserves and favorable environment for investors have brought double foreign direct investment (FDI) in the country in the last 10 years as compared to the previous decade. In this three-day summit, various sessions, business-to-business meetings and other programs will be organized to attract investment in the coastal state.
