TCS signs multi-year deal for Air France-KLM to become data-based airline

New Delhi| Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) signed a multi-year deal with Air France-KLM. Under this, Tata Group’s IT company Air France will help KLM to become a data based airline. During the next three years, TCS will send Airline Group’s data to the cloud.
The Indian IT company said the change will help Air France-KLM exit data centers and harness the power of the cloud, supporting a sustainable and adaptive aviation industry. The new data architecture will simplify the use of data to enhance operations, make decisions, improve functionality and achieve efficiency.
TCS has partnered with Air France-KLM for 30 years to enhance reliability, social media, customer service and e-commerce. TCS will assist Air France-KLM in transferring its critical systems and core business data to the cloud, covering key areas such as flight operations, passenger information, aircraft maintenance and airlines e-commerce platforms.

Air France-KLM operates several airline brands with a fleet of 551 aircraft flying to 320 destinations in 100 countries.
