Students Presented Captivating Performances on Bhagwan Birsa Munda Jayanti at Government Inter College Dadera Pura
Ayodhya, 15 November: On the occasion of Bhagwan Birsa Munda Jayanti, special programs were organized on Saturday at Government Inter College Dadera Pura, Ayodhya. Students paid tribute to the tribal hero and pioneer of the freedom struggle, Birsa Munda, through cultural performances, speeches, and songs highlighting his contributions.
The program began with Principal Krishan Kumar lighting the lamp and offering garlands to the portrait of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. Addressing the students, he said, “Birsa Munda was a brave warrior of the Indian freedom struggle who united his community at a very young age and raised his voice against oppression and injustice. We must draw inspiration from his courage, sacrifice, and spirit of struggle. Only when children develop social awareness and moral values can the nation grow stronger.”
After this, teacher Pramod Kumar, in his address, said, “Birsa Munda is not only a hero of the tribal community but an inspiration for the entire nation. By leading a mass movement against British rule, he proved that even the greatest powers cannot stand before truth and courage. We need to bring his life story to children so that the new generation stays connected with history and the roots of the nation.”

Students presented a play based on the life of Birsa Munda, effectively showcasing his struggle and service to the people. Along with this, children conveyed the message of Tribal Pride Day through patriotic songs, poetry recitations, and speeches. Teachers appreciated the students’ enthusiasm, stating that such events help instill patriotism, social understanding, and respect for great freedom fighters in young minds.
At the end of the program, students who delivered outstanding performances were honored with awards.
