Share Market Opening Bell: Stock market recovered after the previous day’s fall; Sensex rose 1200 points, Nifty also rose
New Delhi| Domestic stock markets opened with a positive trend on Tuesday. Trading cautiously after yesterday’s fall, the domestic stock market started on the green mark. A significant rise was seen in the stock markets in early trading. Sensex jumped 1,283.75 points to 74,421.65 points. Similarly, Nifty increased by 415.95 points to 22,577.55 points.
Earlier on Monday, amid concerns of global trade war and increasing fears of recession in America, there was heavy selling in the stock markets all over the world. The Indian market was also not untouched by this and major indices like Sensex and Nifty closed with big losses. During this period, Sensex, the benchmark index of 30 shares, had recorded the biggest one-day fall in the last 10 months.

The picture appeared to have changed on Tuesday amid the huge fall in markets around the world on Monday. During this period, growth was seen in Asian markets. Japan’s Nikkei 225 share index fell 8 percent the day before, but showed a 5.5 percent rise on Tuesday. Kospi in South Korea also grew by 2 percent. Markets in New Zealand and Australia also saw a rise.
