Sensex Opening Bell: Stock market opened on red mark, Sensex fell by 343 points while Nifty was trading at 23,440

New Delhi| The stock market opened with a big fall on Monday amid continuous withdrawal of foreign capital. Domestic markets continued to decline for the fourth consecutive session. BSE Sensex fell by 343.83 points in early trade at 77,516.36 points while NSE Nifty slipped 105.55 points to 23,454.40 points.
Shares of Tata Steel, Power Grid, NTPC, Zomato, Sun Pharma and Bajaj Finance were the biggest losers among the 30 Sensex-listed companies. At the same time, shares of Bharti Airtel, Hindustan Unilever, State Bank of India and Nestle were in profit.


Similarly, in Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei, South Korea’s Kospi and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng were in decline, while China’s Shanghai Composite was in advantage. It is noteworthy that American markets closed with a decline on Friday.
