Rahul Gandhi’s reaction on the results of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir

New Delhi| Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi gave his reaction on the results of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. On one hand, he wholeheartedly thanked the people for the victory of the National Conference and Congress alliance in Jammu and Kashmir. On the other hand, he talked about analyzing the unexpected results of Haryana elections. Along with this, Rahul Gandhi said that he will inform the Election Commission about the complaints coming from many assembly constituencies.
Rahul Gandhi wrote in a post on social media platform ‘X’, “Thank you wholeheartedly to the people of Jammu and Kashmir – India’s victory in the state is the victory of the Constitution, the victory of democratic self-respect.”
He further wrote, ‘We are analyzing the unexpected outcome of Haryana. Will inform the Election Commission about the complaints coming from many assembly constituencies. Heartfelt thanks to all the people of Haryana for their support and our Babbar Sher workers for their tireless work. We will continue this struggle for rights, for social and economic justice, for truth, and will continue to raise your voice.’

Earlier, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge wrote in a post on social media platform ‘X’ on the results of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, ”Heartfelt thanks to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for giving an opportunity to serve the Congress Party and the National Conference alliance. Congratulations to National Conference President Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and head of the coalition government Omar Abdullah on their spectacular victory. This public opinion has been given by the people of Jammu and Kashmir against the anti-people policies of BJP, violation and oppression of public rights and misuse of constitutional institutions. In another X post, he wrote, “The outcome of Haryana is unexpected”. The party is assessing this public opinion. After talking to our grassroots workers, getting complete information and checking the facts, there will be a detailed response from the party. We express our gratitude to the people of Haryana for voting for the Congress Party. Our hardworking workers need not be disappointed. Our fight with dictatorship is long.
Talking about the election results of Haryana, Bharatiya Janata Party is going to create a record and form the government in the state for the third consecutive time. BJP has got 48 out of 90 assembly seats in the state. At the same time, Congress has got 37 seats. Apart from this, Indian National Lok Dal has got 2 seats and others 3 seats. On the other hand, in Jammu and Kashmir, NC-Congress alliance has won 48 seats, while BJP has won 29 seats.
