Pollution to be controlled through hybrid smog guns at a cost of 30 crore

Noida Authority is spending Rs 30.98 crore on prevention of air pollution to ensure that people’s health is not affected. For this, hybrid smog gun will be used for the first time in Noida. This will be useful in reducing smog.
PM 2.5 is those small particles or droplets present in the air whose diameter is 2.5 micrometers or less. These are the ones that affect health the most. Work will be done to clean them with guns.

Authority CEO Lokesh M explained that 12 machines were being purchased. Its trial has been done. 5.27 crores are being spent to buy it. These will be installed on the most polluted spots. Apart from this, anti-smog guns will be installed on the terraces of high-rise buildings of Noida. Whose work has been started. With the implementation of GRAPE, these smog guns will also be started. With this, pollution can be reduced to a great extent.

He informed that 15 new anti smog guns are being installed in Noida. 3.88 crores are being spent to buy them. Out of this, 5 anti smog guns have been purchased. While 10 new anti smog guns are being purchased. For 7.39 crore, 25 sprinkle water tankers are being purchased to spray water on roads and plants. There have been 5 that are being used. The rest will be purchased in this month itself.

4 have been purchased in six mechanical sweepings to clean the roads. 2 is in the process of being purchased. Apart from this, roads will be resurfaced for 10.21 crore. Grass was planted on the roadside for the dust free zone. There is a lot of challenge in maintaining them. Grass grid will be done in their place.
