PM Modi to flag off 3 Vande Bharat trains, know the routes and timings
Lucknow| Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off three new Vande Bharat trains. PM Modi will launch Vande Bharat Express trains to increase rail connectivity in Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. These three trains will join the network of over 100 Vande Bharat Express trains currently operating, connecting over 280 districts. Prime Minister Modi will flag off three Vande Bharat Express trains through video conferencing. One of these Vande Bharat trains will go from Chennai Central to Nagercoil, the second from Madurai to Bengaluru Cantt and the third from Meerut City-Lucknow.
Nagercoil Vande Bharat train from Chennai Central
The Nagercoil-bound Vande Bharat train will initially depart from Chennai Central, but will run regularly from Chennai Egmore. It will run daily except Wednesday. This Vande Bharat train service will facilitate pilgrims to visit Divya Arulmigu Meenakshi Amman Temple, Madurai and Kumari Amman Temple, Kanyakumari.
The train will pass through these stations
Train number 20627 will leave Chennai Egmore at 5 am and reach Nagercoil at 1:50 pm. During this time it will stop at Tambaram, Villupuram, Tiruchirappalli, Dindugal, Madurai, Kovilpatti and Tirunelveli. The return train (number 20628) will leave Nagercoil at 2:20 pm and reach Chennai at 11 pm.
Madurai to Bengaluru Cantonment Vande Bharat train
Vande Bharat train between Madurai and Bengaluru Cantonment will run six days a week except Tuesday. This Vande Bharat service will connect the busy temple city of Madurai in Tamil Nadu with the metropolitan city of Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. Train No. 20671 will leave Madurai at 5:15 am and reach Bengaluru Cantonment at 1 pm, stopping at Dindugal, Tiruchirappalli, Karur, Namakkal, Salem and Krishnarajapuram. In return (train number 20672), it will leave Bengaluru at 1:30 pm and reach Madurai at 9:45 pm.
Meerut City-Lucknow Vande Bharat Train
Meerut City-Lucknow Vande Bharat train will start its regular service from Lucknow on Sunday and from Meerut on Monday. It will run six days a week except Tuesday. This Vande Bharat train is expected to boost religious tourism in the region by providing fast travel to pilgrimage sites like Digambar Jain Temple, Mansa Devi Temple, Surajkund Temple and Aughadnath Temple. Train 22490 will leave Meerut City at 6:35 am and will arrive at Charbagh railway station in Lucknow at 1:45 pm. This train will stop at Moradabad and Bareilly. In return (train number 22489) this train will leave Charbagh railway station at 2:45 pm and will reach Meerut City at 10:00 pm.
