Parliament Monsoon Session- Nirmala Sitharaman to present Economic survey today.
New Delhi- The Monsoon Session of Parliament will begin on Monday (July 22) and will continue till August 12. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the economic survey in Lok Sabha today at 12 noon and will then present the same in Upper House at 2pm. She will present the first Union Budget of the Narendra Modi 3.0 government on Tuesday in the Lower House.
Previously, an all-party meeting was called by the government on Sunday for the smooth conduct of the budget session. The meeting, chaired by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, was attended by 55 leaders from 44 parties from the government side including party leader in Rajya Sabha JP Nadda, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal.
