NDTV’s operating revenue grew 16.5 percent in the second quarter

New Delhi| NDTV, one of the country’s largest media conglomerates, on Wednesday released financial results for the second quarter of FY 2024-25. The company’s operating revenue has increased by 16.5 per cent to Rs 111.32 crore on a consolidated basis in the July-September period, from Rs 95.55 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.

On behalf of the media company, it was said that the reason for the good performance of NDTV is the growth of strong content strategy, intellectual property (IP) portfolio and strategic digital initiative.

August saw a 24 percent increase in traffic on the Hindi platform, while the English platform saw a 41 percent increase compared to August last year.

Further strengthening its leadership in the digital sector, NDTV’s English YouTube channel achieved the highest viewership in the English news category in September, beating its competitors. The company further said that this surge in audience participation highlights NDTV’s insightful journalism and ability to connect with modern consumers through new formats on various platforms.
The media house also hosted one of its biggest events ‘NDTV World Summit 2024 – The India Century’ with Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivering the inaugural address, emphasizing its importance as a platform for global collaboration, leadership and innovation.
