Today we are going to tell you the recipe of Navratri special potato curry, which you can make by following some easy steps.

Ingredients for making potato curry
Potatoes – 5-6 (chopped)
Tomatoes – 2 (chopped)
Green chillies – 2 (finely chopped)
Coriander leaf – 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
Cumin – 1 tsp
Asafoetida – a pinch
Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Red chilli powder – as per taste
Garam masala – 1/4 teaspoon
Salt – as per taste
Oil – 2-3 teaspoons

Method of making potato curry
1. Add tempering – heat oil in a pan. Add cumin and asafoetida in it. When cumin seeds start crackling, add chopped green chillies.
2. Fry tomatoes – Now add chopped tomatoes and fry. Once the tomatoes melt, grind them in a mixer.
3. Add potatoes – add ground tomato paste to the pan. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt to it and mix well. 4. Now add chopped potatoes to it and mix.
5. Cook – Cover the pan with a lid and cook on medium flame. Keep stirring occasionally. When the potatoes have melted, turn off the gas.
6. Garnish – Garnish by adding chopped coriander leaves on top.
