Mahakumbh 2025: Yogi government’s focus on dialogue and inclusive Mahakumbh

Prayagraj| Mahakumbh is not just a religious event, but Kumbh is also a medium of communication of spiritual, cultural, social and ideological diversities of our country. In view of this importance of Kumbh, it has been recognized by UNESCO as ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity’. The Yogi government of the state is trying to combine the same ancient tradition of participation and dialogue afresh. The result of this is that this time the Yogi government is focusing on the inclusive Mahakumbh, where efforts are being made to find solutions to all types of problems along with facilities after discussing with all the stakeholders.
Yogi government is making many innovative efforts to make the event of Mahakumbh 2025 more effective and increase participation in it. Organizing Kumbh Conclave, organizing Mahakumbh Tourist Conclave by the Tourism Department and expanding the same, efforts are now underway to make it inclusive by maintaining constant communication with Akharas, saints and pilgrim priests. On his arrival in Prayagraj on 6 October, the Chief Minister started a series of dialogues on topics related to organizing Mahakumbh with members of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, saints of Khakchowk Arrangement Committee, members of Acharya Bada and Dandi Bada and members of Prayagwal Sabha at Ganga Pandal of Parade Ground, Kumbh Mela administration is continuously carrying forward.
Additional Kumbh Mela Officer Vivek Chaturvedi says that in organizing the Mahakumbh, the fair administration is continuously communicating with the sages and saints of all the Akharas, Mahatmas of Khakchowk Arrangement Committee, Acharya Bada, Dandi Bada, pilgrimage priests and institutions regarding order and other issues. is being made. So that participation of everyone’s ideas can be given definite space.
At the same time, SSP Kumbh, Rajesh Dwivedi say that Akharas have always played an important role in Kumbh and Mahakumbh. To continue this tradition, mutual coordination is being made with all the Akharas. This dialogue is part of that link. Their suggestions and problems are being considered, so that they can be resolved before this grand event and the event can be made successful.
The expectations of devotees and tourists coming from India and abroad are linked to the Mahakumbh-2025 which is going to be organized in Prayagraj. For this, the Yogi government also wants to ensure administrative efficiency, planning and participation of all required government and non-government institutions and organizations in their implementation. Till now only the views of government agencies were included in organizing Mahakumbh, but now the government wants to go one step further. This effort of the government is reviving the ancient dialogue tradition of Kumbh of contemplation which was gradually marginalized.
Mahant Jamuna Puri, Secretary of Shri Panchayati Akhara Mahanirvani, says that officials are continuously contacting him on behalf of the Kumbh Mela administration for the systematic organization of Akharas in the Kumbh area. The officials themselves are reaching the Akharas and taking the opinion of the Akharas to give the best shape to the system. This tradition of dialogue is definitely helping in giving a new form to this event.
