Prayagraj| To make this Mahakumbh a wonderful experience for the devotees, special care is being taken of cleanliness, safety and facilities. To give dimension to the grandeur and divinity of Mahakumbh, like every time, this time too a plan is being worked on to shower flowers from the sky on the devotees.

The Yogi government has been showering flowers on the devotees during many religious programs including Kumbh, Magh Mela. The tradition is also planned to be followed during Mahakumbh 2025. Prayagraj Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant said in this regard that during many religious events in Uttar Pradesh, flowers have been showered on devotees, sadhus and saints by helicopter on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

As per the intention of the Chief Minister, this tradition will be followed in Mahakumbh 2025 also. There is a plan to shower flowers on Naga monks and other saints as well as devotees. Generally, there has been a tradition of showering flowers at Sangam Nose, but this time since more number of devotees will be present, there is a discussion going on about showering flowers at Sangam Nose as well as at all other ghats. An action plan on this will be prepared soon.

After the formation of Yogi government, showering flowers on devotees in Uttar Pradesh has become a symbol of paying tribute to Sanatan culture and faith. Be it the holy bathing festival during Kumbh, or Magh Mela or the journey of Kanwariyas, the Yogi government does not forget to bow to the faith through flower showers. CM Yogi himself has been discharging his duty of increasing the prestige of Sanatan culture by showering flowers on devotees and Kanwariyas through helicopters and platforms many times. Even during the 2021 Kumbh, flowers were showered on crores of devotees who came to take a dip of faith on the banks of Sangam on the day of Mauni Amavasya. Even then, the hashtag Pushp Varsha in UP had become quite trending on social media. Mahakumbh 2025 is likely to be organized on an even larger scale, continuing this tradition.
