Mahakumbh 2025: Prayagraj  becoming the center of faith of the country

Prayagraj|The state government, which is going to make Mahakumbh-2025 the grandest cultural event in the world, has deployed its most skilled officers at the ghat of Prayagraj. As a result of the government’s clear policy regarding religious activities, a large number of devotees have started coming from every corner of the country.

Yogi government has strict instructions to the officials that a large number of devotees coming to Prayagraj from outside should not face any kind of problem. There is tremendous enthusiasm among the people regarding Mahakumbh. In view of the people flocking every day for faith and belief, Tirtharaj Prayag is becoming a religious center of the country.

Pandit Mahendra Nath Sharma, priest of Sangam Ghat in Prayagraj, said that even before the Mahakumbh, the number of immigrants coming from India and abroad for the peace of the souls of their ancestors has suddenly started increasing. A large number of people are coming here to perform rituals to liberate their past generations.

According to Prayagraj’s famous Prayagwal Subramaniam Shastri, seeing the ongoing reconstruction of the Yogi government day and night, tremendous enthusiasm is being seen among the local people as well as the immigrants. Long queues of Brahmins, priests and people coming near Panda have started forming at the ghats of Prayagraj.

In view of the preparations for Mahakumbh, devotees have started coming not only from Uttar Pradesh but from every corner of the country. Apart from Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, the priests of Prayagraj are conducting the rituals of thousands of people every day from many states. Apart from these, Indians living in America, Canada, Mauritius, Australia and Russia have also started coming to pay obeisance to Mother Ganga.

Complete teamwork is being done for efficient management of religious functions on the banks of Sangam. Pankaj Pandey, who is looking after similar responsibility, says that the people coming here perform rituals for the peace of the souls of their ancestors. Donations are given to Brahmins, due to which a large number of people are also getting employment here.
