IPO record broken: Figure may reach 1.50 lakh crore by December

New Delhi| The record of IPO has been broken in the domestic market. So far this year, a total of 72 companies have raised Rs 1,21,745 crore through the issue. Earlier in 2021, 63 companies had raised 1.20 lakh crore. The third largest amount of 75,279 crore was raised in 2017.

According to analysts, if this trend of IPO continues then by December companies can raise more than Rs 1.50 lakh crore. Four companies have raised Rs 18,533 crore so far this month, according to the data. Swiggy has raised the highest amount of Rs 11,327 crore in this. There are still 10 IPOs coming out this month. The largest of this will be Rs 10,000 crore from NTPC Green Energy. HDFC Bank company HDB Financial is also going to come in the market. It has submitted the draft to SEBI to raise Rs 12,500 crore. There will be an offer for sale of Rs 10,000 crore.

By December, the number of companies raising money from IPOs could reach 90. However, the record in terms of number of IPOs has been broken. In 2021, 63 companies had raised Rs 1.20 lakh crore. In 2023, 58 companies had raised 49,437 crores and in 2022, 40 companies had raised 59,939 crores.

SME companies have broken the record of the last 12 years. 216 companies have raised 8,124 crore this year. This is the highest amount since the SME platform was launched in 2012. Earlier in 2023, 182 companies raised Rs 4,967 crore. Companies with the most capital goods: the most 21 companies have been in the capital goods sector. This has been followed by 9 companies in the service sector and 8 in construction. There have been 24 companies in the other sector. In 2023, 27 companies of Capital Goods had entered the market.

Vibhor Steel has the highest subscription in IPO this year, 324 times. Manba Finance has been subscribed 224 times, KRN Heat 213 times, Gala preseason 201 times and Unicorn E-Solution 168 times. Among the beneficiaries, KRN Heat has given a profit of 167 percent. Premier Energy gave a profit of 150 per cent, Bharti Hexocon gave a profit of 142 per cent.
