New Delhi| US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) President John Chambers claimed that India will overtake China and the United States in key economic parameters. Speaking at the annual ‘India Leadership Summit 2024’ organized by USISPF in New Delhi, Chambers praised the fast pace of India’s economic progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “The critical moment was when President Biden and Prime Minister Modi met in Washington to announce that this is the most strategic partnership ever”, Chambers said.

The USISPF president said, “India will be about 100 percent larger than China and 33 percent larger than the U.S. in terms of GDP per capita income growth”. The standard of living and overall development here will surpass that of any other country in the world

Chambers stressed, ‘This is India’s century.’ He further said that India can become a model for global development by working with business, government and education leaders in collaboration with America.

The USISPF president further predicted that through a strong US-India partnership, ‘we could potentially boost India’s GDP growth at a two percent annual rate and boost US GDP growth by one percent. The USISPF summit is taking place after Prime Minister Modi’s successful visit to the United States. ‘The objective of this program is to strengthen bilateral trade, promote supply chain, semiconductor investment, artificial intelligence and next generation technology cooperation.
