India AI Impact Summit 2026 showcases ‘AI for ALL’ global impact challenge to drive inclusive innovation
The second day of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 spotlighted the “AI for ALL: Global Impact Challenge,” a flagship initiative of the IndiaAI Mission aimed at accelerating artificial intelligence solutions capable of delivering large-scale societal impact.
The challenge forms a key part of the summit’s agenda and reflects the Government of India’s push to harness AI for inclusive, sustainable and people-centric development under the guiding principles of People, Planet and Progress.
The Global Impact Challenge invited students, researchers, startups, enterprises and working professionals worldwide to submit AI-driven solutions addressing critical sectors such as urban infrastructure and mobility, agriculture, climate and sustainability, healthcare, education and financial inclusion.
The initiative was implemented in partnership with Startup India under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, and the Digital India Bhashini Division. It focused on innovations that are deployment-ready and capable of achieving measurable outcomes at scale.
Hundreds of submissions were evaluated through a multi-stage process involving domain experts, policymakers and industry leaders.
The Top 10 selected solutions represent diverse AI applications addressing pressing societal challenges. These include Infiheal Healthtech Private Limited; EQUITWIN by Infiuss Health; One Global Medical Technology Limited (Helium Health); Resilience360; SatSure’s Farm Score for Climate-Smart Lending; Wysa’s conversational AI platform for mental health; Kidaura Innovations Pvt Ltd; MadhuNetrAI for diabetic retinopathy screening; CarbGeM Inc.; and Biome Makers Inc.’s BeCrop soil intelligence platform.
The finalists will present their solutions at the Summit’s Grand Finale and Awards Ceremony.
Winning teams stand to receive financial incentives of up to ₹2.5 crore, along with structured ecosystem support including mentorship, pilot opportunities and strategic partnerships to facilitate national and global expansion.
Complementing the challenge, a high-level panel discussion titled “Leveraging AI to Drive Development Objectives in the Global South” examined pathways to building an inclusive AI innovation ecosystem.
The discussion brought together industry and policy leaders including representatives from Boston Consulting Group, Japan International Cooperation Agency, Anthropic and B Capital, along with members of the IndiaAI governing board.
Panelists highlighted the importance of early-stage AI startups securing design partners, validating commercial demand and gaining access to high-quality datasets. They also underscored the government’s role as a facilitator connecting innovators with markets and enabling open platforms, collaborative ecosystems and trust-based frameworks for responsible AI deployment.
Through initiatives like the AI for ALL: Global Impact Challenge, the India AI Impact Summit 2026 seeks to bridge policy dialogue with real-world implementation. The programme aims to promote AI solutions that are inclusive by design, sustainable in impact and aligned with long-term public good objectives.
The summit continues to position India as a leading voice in shaping the future of responsible and scalable AI innovation globally.
