Deepotsav – Yogi government to create a record by performing Saryu Aarti with 1,100 Vedacharyas

Ayodhya| Deepotsav will be organized from 28 to 30 October under the guidance of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. On the eighth Deepotsav, 2.5 million lamps will be lit. In the procession, events and staging based on various incidents of Ramayana will be organized by different groups of artists.

This time, along with Chief Minister Yogi, Union Tourism and Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat will also be present in the Deepotsav. Yogi government’s Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said that this time in the presence of the Chief Minister and guests, a Guinness World Record will be created by performing Saryu Aarti with 1,100 Vedacharyas from Laxman Kila Ghat to Naya Ghat.

At the same time, there will be cultural programs and laser shows by artists on a grand stage amidst water on Avril Saryu Dhara, Ram Ki Paidi amidst lakhs of lamps.
On one hand, the UP government organizes Deepotsav and introduces people to the culture of different countries, while on the other hand, it also propagates the culture here. In this sequence, artists from six countries will stage Ramlila in the eighth Deepotsav. Artists from Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia and Nepal will participate in it. ICCR’s cooperation will be taken in this.

Artists from 16 states including host Uttar Pradesh will also participate in Ramnagari Ayodhya during Deepotsav. In this, artists from Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Assam, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Bihar, Chandigarh, Sikkim, Chhattisgarh will also present cultural programs.
At the same time, in Deepotsav-2024, cultural programs will be presented by artists from India and abroad at places like Guptar Ghat, Badi Devkali, Tulsi Udyan, Hanumangarhi, Rampath, Ramkatha Park, Saryu Beach, Ram Ki Paidi etc. There will also be grand drone shows, musical laser shows etc.
