The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has extended the last date to participate in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders’ Dialogue (VBYLD) Quiz 2026 till October 31, following strong interest shown by youth across the country. So far, more than 20 lakh participants have taken part in the online quiz.

The VBYLD Quiz 2026, conducted through the MY Bharat portal and mobile application, is the initial phase of the larger youth dialogue aimed at collecting ideas and perspectives for a developed India by 2047. All participants are awarded digital certificates, while the top 10,000 scorers will receive MY Bharat merchandise and qualify for the next stage of the competition.

In a bid to ensure wide accessibility, the quiz has been integrated with over five lakh Common Service Centres (CSCs) across the country. Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) are assisting rural youth in registering and taking the quiz at these centres, enabling participation from remote areas. The MY Bharat mobile application, available on Android and iOS platforms, also allows one-click participation.

Participants selected from the quiz will go on to represent their states and union territories in the VBYLD 2026, which will take place in New Delhi in January next year. The national-level programme will feature several competitive tracks, including cultural and innovation showcases, solution-based challenges on governance, education, climate and digital inclusion, and a hackathon focused on addressing social issues through technology. Another key track aims to encourage design thinking to solve developmental challenges.

The event will also host 100 youth from abroad, including around 80 participants from the Ministry of External Affairs’ Know India Programme and a 20-member delegation from BIMSTEC countries. The inclusion of the diaspora youth underlines India’s efforts to foster global collaboration and connect young minds to the country’s developmental narrative.

The Ministry has urged all eligible youth to register on the MY Bharat portal before the deadline and contribute to the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
