CM Yogi met the father of the youth killed in Bahraich violence

Lucknow|CM Yogi Adityanath met the father of Ram Gopal Mishra, who was killed in the violence on Sunday during Durga idol immersion in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The father has appealed to the CM for justice. He has demanded that those who killed his son should be given the harshest punishment, because these culprits who destroyed his family should not be forgiven.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also took serious cognizance of this incident and spoke to the victim’s family on phone. He consoled his father and called him for a meeting. BJP MLA Sureshwar Singh said about the action taken after the incident that he reached the spot immediately after the violence and after that strict action was taken against the responsible officials. Also, investigation is underway against those who instigated the violence and the culprits will not be spared.

Tension has increased in Bahraich after this incident. After the youth died after being shot, protests also took place on Monday and a huge crowd gathered. Police say that the bullet was fired during the clash, after which the situation became worst.
