CM Yogi applauds the schemes for the welfare of farmers, consumers and tribal community
Lucknow| In the Union Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appreciated the decisions taken for the welfare of Annadata farmers, consumers and tribal community and thanked the Prime Minister. While the Union Cabinet has decided to continue the PM-ASHA scheme with Rs 35,000 crore till the year 2025-26, it has approved the proposal to fix nutrient based subsidy rates on phosphatic and potassic fertilizers for Rabi crop season, 2024. Whereas ‘Pradhan Mantri Tribal Unnat Gram Abhiyan’ has been approved.
Regarding the decision to continue PM-ASHA schemes, CM Yogi wrote on social media platform ‘X’, The approval received by the Union Cabinet under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, committed to the upliftment of Annadata farmers and welfare of consumers, to continue the Pradhan Mantri Annadata Income Protection Abhiyan (PM-ASHA) schemes with a total financial expenditure of Rs 35,000 crore by the year 2025-26 is commendable. Heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this public welfare decision taken to provide remunerative prices to Annadata farmers and control the fluctuations in prices of essential commodities for consumers.
On approving the proposal to fix nutrient-based subsidy rates, CM Yogi wrote, “The progress and prosperity of Annadata farmers is the resolve of the double engine BJP government”. In continuation of the accomplishment of this resolution, the approval given by the Union Cabinet to the proposal to fix nutrient based subsidy rates on phosphatic and potassic fertilizers for Rabi crop season, 2024 is highly commendable. This decision will ensure availability of fertilizers to farmer friends at reasonable prices and will also open new doors for their prosperity.
Similarly, on the approval of ‘Pradhan Mantri Tribal Unnat Gram Abhiyan’, CM Yogi wrote, “The approval given to ‘Pradhan Mantri Tribal Unnat Gram Abhiyan’ by the Union Cabinet under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi is commendable”. This historic decision taken towards the upliftment of the tribal community will improve and enrich the standard of living of more than 5 crore tribal brothers and sisters from more than 63,000 villages. Hearty gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for this decision to ensure overall development of tribal dominated villages and congratulations to the countrymen, especially the brothers and sisters belonging to the tribal community.
