China hits back at Donald Trump’s tariffs, Dragon imposes 15% tariffs on coal and LNG

New Delhi| China’s Commerce Ministry announced that it is imposing retaliatory tariffs on several products against the US. China’s government said it would apply a 15 percent tariff on coal and liquefied natural gas products, as well as a 10 percent tariff on crude oil, agricultural machinery, cars with larger displacements.

The 10 percent tariff imposed on China by President Donald Trump was to come into effect, though Trump plans to speak with Chinese President Xi Jinping in the next few days.
