Stock market shaken by Trump’s counter-tariff; Sensex falls 800 points, Nifty too slips
New Delhi|The impact of US President Donald Trump’s announcement of retaliatory tariffs on India was seen on the domestic stock market on Thursday. The stock market opened with a negative trend in early trading itself. A huge fall was seen in Sensex and Nifty. At present, Sensex was seen trading at 75,811.86 points, down 805.58 points, or 1.05 per cent. Such Nifty is trading 23,150.30, down 182.05 points or 0.78 per cent.
