Lucknow: While on Women’s Day, some made their teachers feel special, some planned surprise gifts for their mother, wife or sister. UP’s startup brand Baggage Buddy celebrated Women’s Day by giving school bags and other items to needy girls.

Every day should be dedicated to women because every day women make several sacrifices, hard work entire year selflessly to make family happy, while managing the office and society along with looking after the family. Generally, on Women’s Day, people give women a break at home and go out for a walk or outing and dinner, while at others give them a day off and motivate them to enjoy.

This time too, people were seen celebrating Women’s Day in different ways across the city. Keeping a different topic in mind, Baggage Buddy, a UP based luggage brand ran a two-day campaign. In which, bags and other items were distributed to needy children equal to the number of people who shopped at their showroom on Women’s Day. This was a noble gesture to support the children who can’t afford to study and so that they can concentrate on their education.

CEO and founder of Baggage Buddy Ravi Shankar said “We often celebrate these days among our near and dear ones but forget that all of us together can make a big change by small initiatives by contributing to underprivileged girls who are looking forward to get education despite of several hardships. Hence we decided to do this small campaign and motivate others as well to do something for the society in best possible way. We will be continuing such efforts in future as well to bring the positive change in the society”.

Baggage Buddy is an all travel solution under one roof start-up where a large range of bags, luggage of leading brands and travel related products of different premium brands are available.
